BetterCharge is redefining how the world handles failed payments. We help merchants recover revenue lost to declined card transactions—intelligently and automatically.

As a UI/UX and Product Designer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the user experience of our platform. From internal tools to client-facing dashboards, you’ll turn complex payment data into clear, actionable design. You’ll collaborate closely with product, data, and engineering to design experiences that drive adoption, trust, and value.

Job responsibilities

  • Design and iterate on BetterCharge’s internal and customer-facing products
  • Translate complex workflows into clean, user-friendly interfaces
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes using Figma
  • Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and data teams
  • Apply and evolve our design system to ensure consistency across the platform
  • Contribute to product ideation and discovery from a user-centered design perspective
  • Communicate design rationale clearly and receive feedback openly

Job requirements

  • 3+ years experience in product design, UX/UI, or a related field
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating thoughtful UX and polished UI across responsive web applications
  • Experience designing complex systems or data-centric tools
  • Fluency in Figma and modern design tools
  • Understanding of design principles including accessibility, hierarchy, and usability
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote-first environment
  • Bonus: experience in fintech, payments, or B2B SaaS
